Challenge Transform a bathroom space that was divided into two cramped, vinyl-covered compartments into a spacious walk-in shower.

Solution Completely gut both compartments to create a single, 6’x4’ space that could accommodate an enlarged shower setup complete with extended tile bench.

Results The bright new shower space features large white tiles accented by randomly placed glass inserts, and a tile floor adorned by a trailing, flowered vine that spirals around the penny rounds and drain.

Just outside the bathroom, we added a small makeup vanity with an under-mount sink that coordinates attractively with the shower tiles.
